Delete Your Account
⚠️ Important: Account Deletion is Permanent
Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data, including:
- All loan records and borrower information
- Payment history and transaction data
- Team members and organization data
- Settings and preferences
- Reports and analytics data
- Account access and login credentials
🚨 Warning: This action cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, all data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered. Please ensure you have backed up any important data before proceeding.
How to Delete Your Account
Follow these steps to permanently delete your Freebird Loan Management account:
Open the Freebird Loan Management App
Launch the app on your Android or iOS device
Navigate to Settings
Tap on the Settings icon (usually a gear icon) in the app
Go to My Account
Select "My Account" or "Account Settings" from the settings menu
Delete Account
Scroll down and tap on "Delete Account" or "Delete My Account"
Confirm Deletion
Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your request. You may need to enter your password or confirm via email/SMS
Log into Web App
Visit the Freebird Loan Management web app and log into your account
Go to Account Settings
Click on your profile picture or name in the top-right corner, then select "Account Settings"
Find Delete Account
Scroll down to the bottom of the account settings page and look for "Delete Account"
Confirm Deletion
Click "Delete Account" and follow the confirmation prompts. You may need to enter your password
Send Email Request
Email us at support@usefreebird.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request"
Provide Account Details
Include your account email address and any additional verification information we may request
Wait for Confirmation
We'll process your request within 24-48 hours and send you a confirmation email
What Happens After Deletion
⏱️ Processing Time: After you submit a deletion request, your account and related records will be permanently deleted within 7 business days.
Data That Will Be Deleted
- Personal Information: Name, email, phone number, profile data
- Business Data: All loan records, borrower information, payment history
- Team Data: Team members, roles, permissions, and organization settings
- App Data: Settings, preferences, customizations, and user-generated content
- Analytics Data: Usage statistics, reports, and performance data
- Account Access: Login credentials, authentication tokens, and session data
Data That May Be Retained
📋 Legal Compliance: Certain legal or regulatory requirements may require us to retain limited records for compliance purposes, including:
- Financial transaction records (as required by law)
- Audit logs and security records
- Legal compliance data
- Records required for tax or regulatory purposes
These records will be retained only as long as legally required and will not be used for any other purposes.
Before You Delete

- Backup Your Data: Export any important loan records, reports, or data you want to keep
- Team Members: If you're an organization admin, ensure other team members have access to necessary data
- Active Subscriptions: Cancel any active subscriptions before deleting your account
- Third-Party Integrations: Disconnect any third-party services or integrations
- Alternative Solutions: Consider if you need the data for future reference or business purposes
Data Export Options
Before deleting your account, you can export your data:
- Loan Records: Export all loan and borrower data to CSV or Excel format
- Reports: Download any reports or analytics you need
- Settings: Note down any custom settings or configurations
- Team Data: Export team member information and roles
